Teenage Cancer Trust
We are official partners of Teenage Cancer Trust, a charity that cares and supports the needs of young people. They work with specialised nurses, youth workers & hospital units within the NHS to provide young children with the best care possible.
Every day, seven young people aged 13-24 hear the words “you have cancer”. They will each need specialised nursing care and support to get them through it. Teenage Cancer Trust are the only UK charity dedicated to meeting this vital need – so no young person faces cancer alone.
We are donating a % of our sales to the Teenage Cancer Trust so that we can help support this incredible organisation and the amazing work they do.
The Teenage Cancer Trust is an organisation that was founded in 1990. The charity offers unique care and support for young people with cancer. They exist to improve the cancer experience of people aged 13-24 years old. They also provide specialist teenage units in NHS hospitals. The charity has built 28 units in cities across the UK.
Teenage Cancer Trust Units are designed to be spaces where young people facing cancer can feel at home, meet others their age, and welcome family and friends.
The charity also holds national events for young people with Cancer. The events are so that people with cancer can come together and share their experiences, develop life skills and build connections. The Teenage Cancer Trust is huge on bringing young people together through difficult times., to do this they hold programs such as "the over 18s Digital Peer Support Programme" where they can meet other young people who have cancer and "Trekstock’s 8-week exercise program" where they can keep moving through and beyond cancer.
The charity has been doing amazing work with young people and helping them with their experience with cancer. We are honored to be working with an incredible charity.
